Setting up
1. Plug the power cable into your BT Defender 100 and the
other end into the mains.
2. While holding down the
and
buttons, switch on your
BT Defender 100. The light will initially be red. When the light
turns green, release the
and
buttons.
3. Remove the battery compartment cover and install a
9v alkaline back-up battery (optional).
4. Plug in the operator’s headset.
Slot the cable along the
cable channel.

IMPORTANT
The BT Defender 100 must be
plugged into the mains power at
all times.
Getting started
Back-up battery
A new PP3 9v alkaline back-up
battery provides power for up to
2 days if the mains power fails.
This will start your noise dose
monitoring without the need to
connect to a computer.
