iPQ-Spectral – Spectral measuring head (C11 SensorUnit)
You can now prepare the spectral measuring head for shipping.
Prior to shipping, package the spectral measuring head so that it
cannot be damaged if transported correctly.
When sending in the spectral measuring head for main-
tenance purposes, it is also necessary to send in the tile
insert of the calibrating unit!

Installing the spectral measuring head on the traverse bar
If you are using the spectral measuring head in combination with
an optional camera unit, you have to reinstall the measuring head
first (see chapter
Installing the spectral measuring head, page
). Following this you can reinstall the camera unit (see chapter
Installing the camera, page 35
7.2.1
Installing the spectral measuring head
Perform the following steps to re-install the spectral measuring
head on the traverse bar, once the maintenance work is com-
pleted:
1. Carefully lift the spectral measuring head off the surface with
two hands. Carefully insert the spectral measuring head in the
sensor console.
2. Fasten the spectral measuring head on the sensor console us-
ing the four
supplied
M5 fitted bolts.
Only use the supplied M5 fitting bolts.
3. Reconnect the functional grounding cable of the spectral meas-
uring head and the signal cable (X1). Tighten the nut of the
functional grounding cable connection, then lock or screw tight
all plug connections.
