7.10 NLG4 Version C compared to Version B
Improvements
In the new version C of the battery charger NLG4, some improvements have been introduced:
•
Better mains filter for less EMI
•
Lower mains current harmonic distortions
•
separate mains inputs for each 3.8kW-block in the 6.8kW and 10kW charger.
Sizes

Connection
The NLG4C is connected the same way as the version B. The separate mains inputs for each
Block in the 7.4kW and 11kW types gives more adaptation flexibility to the available power
sources. The charging blocks can be used like independent chargers. For 3-phase 208V, the
NLG43x can now be wired in delta.
There are three important conditions for a proper mains connection of NLG 42x and 43x:
•
The
charging block 1
must
always be connected to a power source; otherwise the charger
would not work.
•
It is
not allowed
to connect
all three
charging blocks of NLG43x in parallel to the same
phase.
•
In a 400V three phase system, all three charging blocks must be connected to the
neutral
mains terminal.
