Configures the startup method the power is turned on.

[Normal Startup] (Default)

: The startup time for Normal Startup is about 5 seconds.

[Quick Startup]

: The startup time for Quick Startup is about 1.5 seconds.

Configuration Method

Display the [Change settings] screen.

Select [Startup options].

Configure the startup method.

•

Select and place a checkmark "

" by either [Normal Startup] or [Quick Startup].

•

If [Quick Startup] is selected, a warning message regarding battery life appears for 
several seconds.

Configuring Quick Startup

•

Even when the setting is configured to [Normal Startup], the setting changes to 
Quick Startup in the following.

•

When the power is turned off while the AC adapter or USB cable is connected to
the unit and then the power is turned back on to startup.

•

When the setting is configured to [Quick Startup], a small amount of power is 
consumed even when the power is turned off. This will shorten the battery life.

•

Even when the setting is configured to [Quick Startup], the setting changes to 
Normal Startup in the following.

•

When the AC adapter is connected and started after the power is turned
off without the AC adapter connected

•

When the USB cable is connected and started after the power is turned off without
the USB cable connected
