Connecting the Brother MFC-9750 to
a PC With a USB Cable
(For Windows

®

 98 Users Only)

A USB cable is not included with your MFC-9750.  Before you can set
up the USB interface, please purchase a standard USB cable.  Or, to set
up the parallel interface instead, please see “Connecting the Brother
MFC-9750 to a PC Using a Parallel Cable” in this chapter.

After you have set up the MFC-9750 and checked that it is working
properly, make sure the machine is turned on and the PC is turned
off.

Connect the USB cable to both the machine and PC.

3

Turn on your PC. When the Add New Hardware Wizard appears,
click Next.
