6.3. NP (Number of Pens) Command

Default value = 8

This command makes the palette the specified size after the Initialize Set Instruction command or Set PCL
Color Setting command is executed.

The n value represents the palette number with the value of 2

. When it cannot be indicated with the value
of 2

, the next value, 2

is selected.

When a value over 257 is specified, 256 is selected.
•
When a value less than 2 is specified, it is ignored.
•
The specified palette can be selected by the Select Pen command. When the value specified by the Select
Pen command is bigger than the palette number specified by this command, the value of the remainder is
used.
6.4. CR (Color Range) Command

Range = - 32768 ~ 32767
Default value is listed below;

Black reference 0 0 0
White reference 255 255 255
Black reference: specifies the black value (the highest level of density)
White reference: specifies the white value (the lowest level of density)

This command sets the range for specifying relative color data.
•
The value specified by this command is reset to the default value by the
CR [;]
or
IN [;]
command.
