(2) Turn the scanner cover right side up.

(3) Remove two screws "a" from the rear of the ADF & document cover ASSY.

Note:

Screws "a" are a special type (M9), so take care not to lose them.

(4) Open the ADF & document cover ASSY fully.

Note:

Lifting up the ASSY without fully opening it in step (5) opens the hinge arm L

suddenly and unexpectedly with great force. It is DANGEROUS!

Hinweis:

(5) Lift up the ADF & document cover ASSY to separate it from the scanner cover.

(6) Slightly turn the hinge arm R and remove it from the ADF & document cover ASSY.

(7) Remove the three screws "b" from the hinge arm L and release it from the ADF &

document cover ASSY.
