and one teaspoon of chlorine bleach. Let the solution stand for 20 minutes,
and then carefully empty the BASE.
7. Wipe dry with a clean cloth or paper towel. Repeat until no bleach smell is
detected.
Caution:
• Do not rinse the BASE under running water.
• Do not submerge the BASE in water.
• Do not touch the ULTRASONIC DISK (see Fig. 1) with bare fingers as any
fingerprints or other residue can affect mist output.
• Do not scrub or scrape the ULTRASONIC DISK (see Fig. 1).
8. Reattach the MAIN HOUSING to the BASE by aligning the LATCHES on the
MAIN HOUSING to the BASE and lock in place.
9. Replace the WATER TANKS and FILTER.
DESCALING THE WATER RESERVOIR
The WATER RESERVOIR should be descaled when mineral deposits are present on
the WATER RESERVOIR surfaces.
1. Power the unit OFF and disconnect from the electrical outlet.
2. Lift and remove each WATER TANK from the unit.
3. Lift and remove the FILTER from the unit.
4. Press the RELEASE LATCHES on each side of the unit and lift the MAIN
HOUSING off the BASE.
