Minimum Opening Time (seconds) to Backcheck** 

**shall be set to the same criteria as closing times. 

 

 (Latchcheck or Backcheck): A door shall not close or 
open in the last 10 degrees in less than 1.5 seconds 

IMPORTANT: 

Operating door at speeds faster than those established in ANSI 156.10 will void warranty and may 
damage operator.
