Switch Serial Number
The switch serial number and corresponding bar code are provided on the serial number
label, as shown below:
The serial number label is located as follows:

On SilkWorm 2000 series switches: Bottom of chassis

On SilkWorm 3000 series switches: Back of chassis

On SilkWorm 6400 and 12000 switches: Inside chassis, on wall to left of ports

Switch Worldwide Name

SilkWorm 12000 switches: The chassis WWN is available through the wwn
command.

For all switches other than the SilkWorm 12000: The switch WWN is available
through the switchshow and wwn commands.
