Option B: Using Fixed IP Address

On the
IP Address
tab, select
Specify an IP address
.

Then set the IP address as
192.168.1.x
(x is between 2
and 254), subnet mask as
255.255.255.0
.

Select the
Gateway
tab and set the gateway to
192.168.1.1
.
Step 5 Click
OK
twice to finish the configuration. If your network
settings have been changed, you will be prompted to
restart your computer. Click
Yes
to have new settings take
effect.
