INFORMATION!
Excessive contamination of the filter element leads to pressure loss.
The pump performance decreases, and the current consumption of the motor
and the pump temperature increase. The filter element may therefore be
damaged. Result: Smoke formation from the outlet side!
Removal:
Fig. 11 Filter element
Remove the nuts (1) and plate (2) with the gasket,
Unscrew item (3) to loosen the clamp element (5) and be able to take it
out,
Remove the filter element (6).
INFORMATION!
There can be mounted up to six filter elements.
Insertion of the new filter element:
Position the nose of the filter element correctly in the seat of the pressure
chamber so that the O-ring (7) lies on side (A) of the seat,
Reattach the clamp unit (5) and screw it tight (3), so that the O-ring (7)
presses against side (A),
After inserting the new filter element and before attaching the closing plate
(2) – and if the application permits it – start up the pump to make sure that
no smoke emerges. If smoke is formed, the filter element is inserted
incorrectly: The O-ring (7) is not correctly positioned on side (A). Correct
the insertion of the filter element,
Reattach the plate (2) with the gasket,
Screw the nuts (1) tightly again.
