Remove the child and adjust the buckle strap length as on page 35.

Sit the restraint against a wall for stability and get the child to sit comfortably in position.

Determine the correct buckle position. The bottom edge of the buckle needs to be level with the top
of the legs.
NOTE:
The SLIDEGUARD™ Clip ensures that the child does not slump and
ensures the lap belt is always positioned on the child’s hips and thighs. If the
seatbelt rides up on to the stomach then a child can be seriously injured in a
crash.
