12. Tighten all nuts and bolts to the torque indicated in the drawing.
13. Fit the last exhaust silencer and loosen the heat shield.
14. Saw out the indicated section in accordance with figure 5,
15. Replace the items removed in step 1.

MONTAGEANLEITUNG:
Vor Beginn des Einbaus ist anhand der Typplakette der Anhängekupplung
festzustellen welches Bild in der Einbauanleitung maßgebend ist.
Achtung: Vor der Montage der Anhängevorrichtung sollte die Strom -
versorgung vorbereitet werden.
1. Die Stoßstange einschließlich des stählernen Stoßbalkens vom
Fahrzeug abmontieren. (Siehe Abbildung 1).
2. Den hintersten Auspuff-Schalldämpfer abmontieren und das Hitze -
schild lösen. (Siehe Abbildung 2).
3. Bei den angegebenen Punkten die Gummikappen entfernen (siehe
Abb. 2).
4. Die RMC einschließlich Füllplatten bei den Punkten A und B montie-
ren. (Siehe Abbildung 3).
5. Die Gegenplatten gemäß Abbildung 4 befestigen.
6. Die Halterungen C und D halbfest am Fahrgestellträger bei den Punkt -
en E anbringen.
7. Die Halterung F anlegen und bei den Punkten G befestigen.
8. Den Querbalken beim Punkten H montieren.
9. Alle Schrauben und Muttern gemäß den Angaben in der Abbildung
festdrehen.
10. Das gehäuse (NT) einschließlich Halterung montieren.
11. Die wegklappbare Steckdosenplatte montieren.
12. Alle Schrauben und Muttern gemäß den Angaben in der Abbildung
festdrehen.
13. Den hintersten Auspuff-Schalldämpfer und das Hitzeschild montieren.
14. Gemäß Abb. 5 das angegebene Teil herausschneiden.
15. Das unter Abschnitt 1 Entfernte wieder anbringen.

NOTE:
* Should this installation process entail the cutting of the bumper – con-
formation MUST be obtained by the installation engineer of the custo-
mer’s acceptance prior to completion. Brink Towing Systems do not
accept responsibility for any matters arising as a result of this miscom-

* The dealer should be consulted for possible necessary adjustment(s)
"of the vehicle".
* Remove the insulating material from the contact area of the fitting
points.
* Consult your dealer for the maximum tolerated pull weight and ball hitch
pressure of your vehicle.
* Do not drill through electrical-, brake- or fuellines.
* Remove (if present) the plastic caps from the spot welding nuts.
* This fitting instruction has to be enclosed in the vehicle documents after
fitting the towbar.
