Equipment Description
Read this manual carefully and become familiar
with pressure washer. Know its applications, its
limitations, and any hazards involved. Save
these original instructions for future reference.
NOTICE If you have questions about intended use, ask
dealer or contact qualified service center. NEVER operate
units with broken or missing parts, or without protective
housing or covers. DO NOT by-pass any safety device
on this machine. DO NOT modify pressure washer in any
way. This equipment is designed to be used with Briggs &
Stratton authorized parts ONLY .

PO Technology™
The force behind PO is in the pump with two
separate cleaning modes: high pressure and high flow. High-
pressure mode delivers up to 20.7 MPa (3000 PSI or 207
BAR) and is ideal for cleaning the toughest stains, mildew and
grime from decks, driveways and siding, while high-flow mode
delivers up to 18.9 LPM (liters per minute) (5 GPM (gallons per
minute)) to power-rinse away dirt, soap and debris.
Briggs & Stratton’s PO Technology is a system
of components working together to deliver the high-flow
capability. Water is sent from the pump to the specially
designed 9.1 m (30 ft.) hose and into the PO gun
with soft grip handle. Water then flows into the 7-in-1 nozzle
that allows user to change from High Pressure to High Flow,
and propels the stream up to 9.1 m (30 ft.).
Transporting
When transporting equipment with a vehicle or trailer,
EMPTY fuel tank or turn fuel shutoff valve, if equipped, to
OFF (0) position. DO NOT tip engine or equipment at angle
which causes fuel to spill.

1. Place handle ( 1, A ) onto supports ( 1, B ) and align
holes ( 1, C ).
2. Insert carriage bolts ( 2, A ) through holes from inside
of unit, attach with plastic knob ( 2, B ) and tighten.
NOTICE Handle can fold forward by loosening knobs
to unthreaded section of bolt. DO NOT fold handle while
engine is hot.
3. Insert rubber strap ( 3,A ) through slot ( 3,B ) in back of
accessory tray and pull tight from front.
4. Place accessory tray ( 4, A ) over holes ( 4, B ) on
handle and push tree clips ( 4, C ) into holes.

We recommend the use of Briggs & Stratton Warranty
Certified oils for best performance. Other high-quality
detergent oils are acceptable if classified for service SF,
SG, SH, SJ or higher. DO NOT use special additives.
Outdoor temperatures determine the proper oil viscosity for
the engine. Use the chart to select the best viscosity for the
outdoor temperature range expected.
* Below 4°C (40°F) the use of SAE 30 will result in hard starting.
** Above 27°C (80°F) the use of 10W30 may cause increased oil
consumption. Check oil level more frequently.

Oil level should be checked prior to each use or at least
every 8 hours of operation. Keep oil level maintained.
1. Make sure pressure washer is on a level surface.
2. Clean area around oil fill ( 5,F ) and remove oil fill cap/
dipstick.
3. Verify oil is at Full mark (top hole) ( 8,A ) on dipstick.
4. If needed, slowly pour oil into oil fill opening to Full
mark (top hole) on dipstick. DO NOT overfill.
5. Replace and tighten oil fill cap/dipstick.
NOTICE DO NOT attempt to crank or start engine before
before it has been properly serviced with recommended oil.
This could result in an engine failure.
CAUTION! Avoid prolonged or repeated skin contact
with used motor oil. Used motor oil has been shown to
cause skin cancer in certain laboratory animals.
Thoroughly wash exposed areas with soap and water.
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. DON’T
POLLUTE. CONSERVE RESOURCES. RETURN
USED OIL TO COLLECTION CENTERS.

Fuel must meet these requirements:
• Clean, fresh, unleaded gasoline.
• A minimum of 87 octane/87 AKI (91 RON). For high
altitude use, see High Altitude .
• Gasoline with up to 10% ethanol (gasohol) is acceptable.
