If the device is left on without receiving any commands for
longer than 2 minutes, it will power itself off to conserve bat-
tery, unless it is set for Motion Activation. To power the device
back on, move the Power switch to OFF and then back to the
ON position.
*Note that this device can record while connected to power,
but the Power switch must be set to the OFF position. If
connected to a power source, it will still draw from battery
reserves if set to ON, and will not charge.
Recording Video
In Video Capture mode you will see a small video camera icon
in the upper right corner of the LCD screen and a timer show-
ing remaining memory. Press the Record/Stop/Play button to
begin recording. The timer will change and show the time re-
corded in the current file. To stop recording, press the Record/
Stop/Play button again.
Hold down the Up button to zoom in and the Down button to
zoom out.
You can shut off the LCD screen by holding down the Left but-
ton for about 3 seconds and power it back on by holding it for
another 3 seconds.
