Getting Started

The first step in using your device is getting it charged. Con-
nect the device to a computer via the included USB charging
cable. Before first use, be sure to charge the device for at least
4 hours.

This device does not have internal memory and relies on a
micro SD card for recording. Before inserting a micro SD card,
make sure the card is formatted correctly. The device can re-
cord in the FAT 16/32 format. If you aren’t sure how to format
an SD card, you can find instructions here: http://www.ehow.
com/how_2112408_format-memory-card.html. The Multi-Mini
is compatible with micro SD cards up to 32GB capacity.

If you plan on viewing your files on your computer, we sug-
gest using VLC Player. The most recent version can be down-
loaded at no cost from http://www.videolan.org.

To power the device on, move the Power Switch to the ON
position. The LCD screen will turn on and, after booting, the
screen will display the video camera icon in the upper right
corner of the screen to indicate the device is in Video Capture
mode and a timer across the top of the screen indicating
the recording time remaining on your memory card. When
powered on, the device will always default to Video Capture
mode.
