IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using this or any other electrical appliance, always follow these basic safety
precautions, especially when children are present.
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE
WARNING - To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, serious personal injury and property
damage please note the following:
•
To protect against fire, electrical shock, and injury to persons do not immerse cord, plugs,
or the appliance in water or other liquids.
•
Do not leave the product unattended while it is in use. Always unplug the product from the
electrical outlet when not in use.
•
Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
•
Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow it to cool before putting on
or taking off parts and before cleaning the appliance.
•
Do not use attachments not recommended or sold by the Manufacturer.
•
Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
•
Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
•
Use the product in a well-ventilated area. Keep at least 4-6 inches of space on all sides of
the product to allow adequate air circulation.
•
Use appliance on a table or flat surface. Keep the product away from curtains, wall
coverings, clothing, dishtowels, or other flammable materials.
•
Do not operate the product empty. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
•
Do not operate the product if it has a damaged or cut Power Cord or plug, if wires are
exposed, if it malfunctions, if it is dropped or damaged, or if the Motor Housing is dropped
in or exposed to water.
•
This product has no user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to examine or repair this
product yourself.
•
Do not put any stress on the power cord where it connects to the product, as the power
cord could fray and break.
•
Do not plug or unplug the product from the electrical outlet with a wet hand.
•
This product is intended solely for non-commercial, non-industrial, household use; do not
use the product outdoors
or for any other purpose.
•
To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not remove the bottom cover on the appliance.
•
This decanter is designed for use only with your Coffee Maker and should never be used
on a range top stove, oven, or microwave of any kind.
•
Do not set a HOT decanter on a wet or cold surface
•
Do not use a cracked decanter or a decanter with a loose or weakened handle. Discard the
decanter immediately if it is ever boiled dry.
•
Protect the decanter from sharp blows, scratches, or rough handling. Do not disassemble the
carafe.
