Operating Instructions
GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:

Switch the light off before assembly, maintenance, battery replacement or cleaning.

The minimum distance from other light sources should be 0.5 metres. Do not place the light
near other light sources.

For best performance and for safety reasons the rechargeable batteries should be replaced no
later than every 24 months. Use only type LiFePO4 3.2 V rechargeable batteries.

For outdoor use only.
t
Check the chosen location for adequate sunlight before installing the light. Do not install the
light in a shady location.

Before drilling holes, make sure there are no supply lines (e.g., water, natural gas, electricity)
in the chosen location. Use a suitable device, such as a metal or power line detector, to locate
supply lines.

Batteries and rechargeable batteries do not belong in the household rubbish. They may
contain toxic heavy metals and must be treated as hazardous waste. Please take your used
batteries to a community collection centre.
