Ruotine antiribaltamento
Le ruotine antiribaltamento offrono
un'ulteriore sicurezza per gli utenti
inesperti che stanno imparando ad usare
la carrozzina. Le ruotine evitano che la
carrozzina si ribalti all'indietro.
Spingere il pulsante di blocco (1), per
sollevare o rimuovere le ruotine di sicurezza. Devono esserci
sempre tra 3 e 5 cm tra il tubo e il terreno (Fig.
Ruotare le ruotine verso l'alto quando si affrontano ostacoli
ingombranti (come un marciapiede) per evitare che tocchino terra.
Quindi girare le ruotine verso il basso nella posizione normale (Fig.
34).

ribaltabili, con braccioli corti o
lunghi
Le spondine hanno bordi smussati
per potersi avvicinare ad un tavolo.
Per ribaltare il bracciolo, spingere la
leva (1) in modo che la spondina si
sblocchi (Fig. 30).

regolabili in altezza
L'altezza del bracciolo può essere regolata come segue.
Spingere la leva verso il basso
e spostare il bracciolo all'altezza
desiderata.
Rilasciare la leva e premere il
bracciolo verso il basso fino a
quando si blocca in posizione.
Controllare sempre che le spondine
siano inserite
correttamente.
Per ribaltare il bracciolo, spingere la leva (1) in modo che la
spondina si sblocchi.
Per regolare la lunghezza del bracciolo, allentare le viti (2), spostare
il bracciolo nella posizione desiderata e quindi stringere le viti (Fig.
32).
AVVERTENZA: non utilizzare le spondine o i braccioli per
sollevare o trasportare la carrozzina.
AVVERTENZA:
Quando si utilizza una ruota posteriore da 24", spostare il
bracciolo di una posizione più in alto per evitare di rimanere
intrappolati con le dita.

Prima di usare la carrozzina
assicurarsi che la cintura pelvica sia
indossata e regolata correttamente.
La cintura pelvica va fissata alla carrozzina
come mostrato nelle figure. La cintura pelvica è
composta da due parti, fissate con il bullone di
fermo del bracciolo infilato nell'occhiello della
cintura. La cintura viene fatta passare sotto
la parte posteriore del pannello laterale. (Fig.

Regolare la posizione della cintura in modo
che le due parti della fibbia si trovino al centro
del sedile. (Fig. 36)
Regolare la cintura pelvica per adattarla alle esigenze
dell'utente nel modo seguente:
Per aumentare la
lunghezza della
cintura
Per diminuire la
lunghezza della
cintura
Far passare la
cintura attraverso le
guide di regolazione
e la fibbia maschio
per allungare la
cintura.
Far ripassare la
cintura attraverso
la fibbia maschio
e le guide di
regolazione.
Controllare che
la cintura non sia
arrotolata sulla
fibbia maschio.
Quando si allaccia la cintura,
controllare lo spazio tra la cintura
e l'utente; se la regolazione è
corretta, deve essere possibile
infilarvi una mano. (Fig. 37)
Normalmente la cintura pelvica
deve essere fissata in modo che le cinghie
formino un angolo di circa 45 gradi e, se regolata
correttamente, non permetta all'utente di
scivolare in avanti.

Per regolare la lunghezza del
bracciolo, allentare le viti (2),
spostare il bracciolo nella posizione
desiderata e quindi stringere le viti
(Fig. 31).
AVVERTENZA:
non utilizzare le spondine o i braccioli per sollevare o
trasportare la carrozzina.

Per chiudere la fibbia:
Inserire bene la fibbia
maschio nella fibbia
femmina.
Per slacciare la cintura:
Fare pressione sulle parti
esposte della fibbia maschio
spingendole verso il centro
oppure premere il pulsante
della fibbia femmina tirando
contemporaneamente le due
parti verso l'esterno.
