Note generali sulla sicurezza e limitazioni di guida

La carrozzina è stata progettata e costruita per garantire la massima
sicurezza dell’utente. Tutte le norme sulla sicurezza vigenti a livello
internazionale vengono strettamente osservate se non addirittura
superate. Ciononostante l'utente può trovarsi in situazioni di pericolo
se la carrozzina viene utilizzata in modo non appropriato. Per
garantire la Vostra sicurezza, è assolutamente necessario rispettare
le seguenti regole.
Modifiche o regolazioni eseguite in modo errato o da personale non
autorizzato aumentano il rischio di incidenti. Quali utenti di una
carrozzina, Voi prendete parte alla circolazione stradale. Per questo
motivo desideriamo ricordarVi che siete obbligati a rispettare le
regole vigenti sulla circolazione stradale .
Se usate la carrozzina per la prima volta, guidate con prudenza.
Familiarizzate con la nuova carrozzina.
Prima di ogni spostamento, effettuare i seguenti controlli:
• Asse delle ruote posteriori ad estrazione rapida
• Velcro sulla superficie del sedile e sullo schienale
• Copertoni, pressione dei pneumatici e freni.
Prima di procedere ad una qualsiasi modifica delle regolazioni, è
importante leggere il relativo capitolo del
manuale d'uso.
È possibile che durante percorsi in salita o in discesa la carrozzina
possa correre il rischio di ribaltarsi a causa di buche nel terreno o di
un fondo irregolare in discesa. Per salire su un gradino o percorrere
una salita frontalmente, consigliamo di piegare il corpo in avanti.
Attenzione!
L'utente e gli oggetti eventualmente trasportati sulla carrozzina non
devono MAI superare la portata massima di 125 kg. Se si eccede la
portata massima, la carrozzina può danneggiarsi, oppure l'utente può
cadere, ribaltarsi o perdere il controllo e causare così lesioni gravi a
se stesso o ad altre persone.
Attenzione!
Per evitare cadute e situazioni pericolose, esercitarsi inizialmente su
un terreno piano quando la visibilità è buona.
Attenzione!
Non utilizzare la pedana per salire o scendere dalla carrozzina. Prima
dell'operazione, ribaltare la pedana e ruotarla il più possibile verso
l'esterno.
Attenzione!
A seconda del diametro e della regolazione delle ruote anteriori
nonché del centro di gravità, le ruote anteriori possono vibrare a
velocità elevate e quindi bloccarsi causando il ribaltamento della
carrozzina. Assicurarsi pertanto che le ruote anteriori siano regolate
correttamente (vedere la sezione "Ruote anteriori").
In particolare non utilizzare la carrozzina su un pendio senza freni e
viaggiare a velocità ridotta.
Attenzione!
Se viene modificato il centro di gravità, osservare con attenzione
come si comporta la carrozzina, ad esempio su pendii, superfici
inclinate, pendenze di ogni tipo o quando si superano degli ostacoli.
Durante questa operazione, chiedere l'aiuto di un assistente.
Gli utenti inesperti devono utilizzare le ruotine antiribaltamento.
Attenzione!
È possibile che la carrozzina possa
ribaltarsi a causa di buche nel terreno o di un fondo irregolare durante
percorsi in salita o
in discesa.
Attenzione!
Le ruotine antiribaltamento impediscono alla carrozzina di ribaltarsi
accidentalmente all'indietro. Non utilizzarle mai al posto delle ruote
da transito o per trasportare un utente in carrozzina senza le ruote
posteriori.
Attenzione!
In caso di regolazioni estreme (ad es. se la carrozzina è regolata con
le ruote posteriori nella posizione più avanti) e l'utente ha una postura
errata, la carrozzina può ribaltarsi anche su una superficie piana.
Attenzione!
Sporgere il tronco in avanti quando si sale su pendii o gradini.
Attenzione!
Sporgere il tronco all'indietro quando si scende da pendii o gradini.
Attenzione!
Per raccogliere oggetti situati davanti, di lato o dietro la carrozzina,
non sporgersi troppo dalla carrozzina perché se si cambia il centro di
gravità si rischia di cadere o ribaltarsi.
Attenzione!
Utilizzare la carrozzina solamente nel modo corretto. Ad esempio,
non cercare di superare un ostacolo (uno scalino o il bordo di un
marciapiede) senza frenare e evitare le buche.
Attenzione!
Per salire le scale, chiedere assistenza. Utilizzare gli ausili
eventualmente disponibili, ad esempio rampe o ascensori. Se questi
ausili non sono disponibili, due persone devono inclinare la carrozzina
e spingerla oltre i gradini.
Se sulla carrozzina sono montate le ruotine antiribaltamento
assicurarsi che siano regolate in modo che non urtino contro i gradini
per non rischiare di cadere. Dopo avere salito le scale, risistemare le
ruotine antiribaltamento nella posizione corretta.
Attenzione!
Assicurarsi che l'accompagnatore tenga la carrozzina utilizzando solo
le parti ben fissate (ad esempio non la pedana o le spondine).
Attenzione!
Quando si utilizza una rampa, assicurarsi che le ruotine
antiribaltamento siano posizionate in modo da non essere di intralcio.
Attenzione!
Su terreni impervi o in fase di trasferimento (ad esempio in auto)
azionare i freni per mantenere la carrozzina in posizione di sicurezza.
