Plug the other end of the cable into your mobile device, and it will immediately begin charging.

When a 3.5mm cable (line-in) is plugged into the BRAVEN speaker, BRAVEN’s USB cell phone charging is
disengaged. To re-engage the BRAVEN’s charging capabilities, unplug any 3.5mm cables from the
BRAVEN’s audio in or out ports. If charging does not re-engage, turn off the BRAVEN speaker and turn it
back on again. If the charging feature still does not work, fully recharge your BRAVEN speaker.

To protect the BRAVEN’s internal battery, the ability to charge external devices is deactivated when the
BRAVEN’s own battery level is low. If your mobile device does not begin charging when it is plugged into
the BRAVEN speaker, please charge the BRAVEN speaker first.

It is recommended that you charge your

BRAVEN until the power indication light turns off (2 to 4 hours for a full charge) before using it to charge
external devices. You may continue to listen to music while the BRAVEN is being charged.

If the BRAVEN speaker is playing music and charging an external device at the same time, when the
battery level decreases to a certain level, the speaker will give a warning beep and disengage the
external charging feature. You can continue to play music on the BRAVEN speaker until the battery level
is low enough (RED light level) that warning beeps occur every 3 minutes, at which time it is important to
fully charge your BRAVEN speaker.

If the BRAVEN speaker is NOT playing music while charging an external device, the charging feature will
not be disengaged until the BRAVEN’s internal battery level is low enough (RED light level) that warning
beeps occur every 3 minutes, reminding your to charge your BRAVEN speaker.

Your BRAVEN speaker is optimized to charge .3A to 1.1A devices such as MP3 players and cell phones
only. It will not charge iPads /tablets and other 2.0A devices.

If you plug in a 2.0A device (such as an

iPad or other tablet) to charge, the BRAVEN’s battery protection mechanism will engage. You'll need to
power off the speaker and turn it back on again in order to charge an external device again.

On a full charge, without music playing, your BRAVEN speaker can charge external devices to the
following approximate levels:
BRAVEN 650 – will charge a typical smartphone approximately 80-100% (depending on model, battery size)
BRAVEN 625s - will charge a typical smartphone approximately 70-90% (depending on model, battery size)
BRAVEN 600 - will charge a typical smartphone approximately 50-70% (depending on model, battery size)

Daisy Chaining and connecting to non-Bluetooth stereo systems

You   can   daisy   chain   multiple   BRAVEN   speakers   together   for   increased   sound.

-

Connect the line-out of your Braven speaker to the line-in port of other BRAVEN or non-
BRAVEN speakers

-

You can connect via line-out to non-Bluetooth-enabled speaker systems (home, car, office,
overhead systems, etc.). BRAVEN acts as a Bluetooth receiver, and audio will play on both
BRAVEN and on the existing speaker system.

When daisy chaining to another speaker, adjustments made to volume level of “source/master” unit will
also take place on the “peep/slave.” But volume can also be independently adjusted on the peep/slave
speaker(s). For best performance, all speakers in the daisy chain should be placed at a minimum distance
of 2 feet from each other.
