If you are unable to connect to the BRAVEN or are experiencing any abnormal performance, you can reset
the speaker by using the power switch to turn the BRAVEN’s power off and back on.
If you are consistently having trouble connecting a new Bluetooth device to your BRAVEN speaker, it may
be helpful to remove the connection history for all Bluetooth devices that have previously connected to
your BRAVEN. To do so, follow these steps:
1.
Press and hold down the Call/Bluetooth Pairing button for 7 seconds (or until the Pairing mode
sound effect is heard and the LED light flashes rapidly).
2.
Once the BRAVEN is in pairing mode, press and hold down both the volume up and volume down
buttons at the same time for 7 seconds until the BRAVEN beeps.
3.
All previous Bluetooth connections to the BRAVEN speaker have now been deleted and the
BRAVEN enters into pairing mode. Re-pair the BRAVEN to your device by following the steps in
section 3: Bluetooth pairing.
Volume is too low
1.
Check the volume levels on both the device that is playing the audio as well as the volume on the
BRAVEN. Ensure that the volume levels on both devices are turned up sufficiently.
Note: The volume controls for line-in mode are separate from the volume controls for Bluetooth
mode, and can be adjusted on both the playing device as well as on the BRAVEN speaker.
2.
If using the 3.5mm cable, also check that the cable is fully inserted into both your device and
the BRAVEN speaker.
3.
Some Bluetooth devices experience volume loss when connected to speakers through Bluetooth.
Please refer to your device’s owner’s manual for further information.
My BRAVEN beeps when I try to recharge my mobile device, while I listen
to music, or after it sits idle for a while
If you are hearing consistent beeping tones while listening to music, the BRAVEN has reached a critically
low battery level. Charge your BRAVEN for 2 to 4 hours before trying to charge your mobile device from it
again. You may continue to listen to music while the BRAVEN charges.
To protect the life of the internal battery, the BRAVEN speaker will auto-shut off after sitting idle for 30
minutes. It will beep once and then power off. Simply turn the power switch off and back on again to
restart the speaker.
The BRAVEN is "skipping" or audio is cutting out momentarily
A Bluetooth signal can be affected by objects that obstruct the BRAVEN from a clear path to the playing
device to which it is paired. Ensure that your listening environment is conducive to the 33-foot (10-meter)
Bluetooth range between your BRAVEN and your playing device. Bluetooth connection ranges may be
decreased due to nearby electric power lines, magnetic fields, or other factors.
When there are two devices connected to the BRAVEN at the same time, and both are within the 33 foot
(10 meter) Bluetooth range, one Bluetooth device may try to take control of the connection from the
other. This may cause your BRAVEN’s audio signal to skip or cut out. If this occurs, you may consider
disconnecting all but the device you wish to use at that time.
If you are not connected to multiple Bluetooth devices simultaneously, and the BRAVEN audio signal cuts
out or skips consistently within a short period of time, it may be helpful to disconnect and then
reestablish the Bluetooth connection. Do this by removing the BRAVEN from the list of Bluetooth devices
on your mobile playing device, and then re-pairing to the BRAVEN by following the steps in section 3:
Bluetooth pairing.
