To mount an EB-Type immersible transducer, follow these steps: 

Step 

Action 

1 

Select a location on the tank bottom  or sidewall for the immersible 
transducer. 

2 

Locate and punch or drill the mounting hole 

3 

Attach the immersible transducer to the tank bottom or sidewall (as 
shown in Figure 5-32) as follows: 

a.  Attach the washer and jam nut to the fitting and 

tighten. 

b.  Route the fitting with the wires through the hole in 

the back of the EB/SB junction box. 

c.  Attach the washer and jam nut to the fitting, and 

tighten. 

d.  Secure the Immersible to the bottom or wall with 

weldstuds, nuts and washers. 

4 

Connect the wires to the incoming RF cable or jumper from another 
immersible transducer.  Follow the wiring instructions.
