6 / CARING FOR AND CLEANING YOUR APPLIANCE
- Your oven cleans itself by using high-temperature to remove stains caused by spills and splat-
tering.
- The smoke released is removed by filtering through a catalyser.
You should not wait until the oven is overly coated in grease to initiate a cleaning cycle.

- If your oven emits smoke during preheating or releases large amounts of smoke during cook-
ing.
- If your oven releases an odour when cooled after various types of cooking (lamb, fish, grills,
etc...).
Pyrolysis is not necessary after each cooking cycle, but simply when your oven is dirty enough
to warrant it.
- In order to suit any situation, this oven has two types of cleaning pyrolysis procedures.
- A savings cycle (PYRO ECO) lasting 1:30 hrs (including the cooling time for the oven;
the door will be locked for 2 hours); this cycle consumes nearly 25% less electricity than the
standard PYRO cycle. Used regularly (every 2 or 3 meat cooking sessions) this cycle lets you
keep your oven clean under all circumstances.
- A standard cycle (PYRO) lasts 2:00 hrs (including oven cooling time; the door will be
locked for 2:30 hrs) and ensures effective cleaning of a very dirty oven.
- As a safety precaution, the door locks as soon as the interior temperature of the oven
exceeds cooking temperatures. It is then impossible to open the door, even if you set the “func-
tion selector” switch to 0.

- If necessary, remove all the door’s interior
windows. This unit is made up of one or two
windows depending on the model, with a
black rubber stopper at each corner (fig.4).
- After cleaning, replace the four rubber cor-
ners taking care to follow the markings on the
window:
* top left: L
* top right: R
Place the interior window unit in the door so
that L and R are on the hinge side.
- If your oven is equipped with just one interi-
or window, this will be found next to the
clipped-on window.
- Clip on your last window making sure the
”P.Y.R.O.L.Y.S.E” marking is towards
you(fig.5).
- Remove the red plastic stops.
Your appliance can now be used again.
