Camera Handle Drape
7.3.1
Introduction
Purpose
The
VectorVision²
and
VectorVision compact
camera handle is draped using the sterile
Light
Handle Cover Large
provided by Brainlab.
Thus you can intraoperatively position the camera without compromising the sterile field.
Packaging
The
Light Handle Cover Large
is delivered sterile. Ensure that the packaging does not have any
holes or tears.
Before use, check expiration date on packaging. If date has expired, do not use drape
but dispose it of.
Sterile Field
Carefully drape the camera handle. The drape maintains the surgeon's sterile field and
provides a sterile barrier between patient and camera handle.
Maintaining sterile adjustment of camera can only be guaranteed by using the
Light
Handle Cover Large
provided by Brainlab.
Disposal
Dispose of the
Light Handle Cover Large
after use.
