17 - AUTOMATIC ADVANCE
This function (only in heating mode) permits the
thermostat to self-adjust the start time of the system
so as to have the desired temperature at the hour
stipulated.
The advance is calculated based on the difference
between the measured and set temperatures.
It is possible to have an advance of up to three hours
with respect to the time at which the temperature to
be reached has been set.
Example of operation
The programmable thermostat is set for 20°C at 7:00.
If, prior to 7:00, the room temperature is less than 20°C,
the thermostat will bring forward the boiler ignition time
in an attempt to reach 20°C at 7:00.
