Telephone
auxiliary/stair light control
Lift the receiver
or
press the hands-free key.
Wait for the dial tone.
Press the auxiliary key (in the
case of
bpt
telephones; for other
telephones, consult the sum-
mary table).
Replace the receiver
or
press the hands-free key.
NOTE.
If the interface is programmed with
the FLASH INTERCEPTION function disa-
bled, the control will not work using a DTMF
set whilst communicating of the local
telephone line.
WARNING. In installations featuring conver-
sation privacy, this control is only available if
the extension has been called from the entry
panel.
Disabling the incoming
call warning tone
Key in
R83
before dial-
ling the telephone num-
ber.
The warning tone will remain disabled for
the entire duration of the call.
Use this function when a modem connec-
tion is made. If you want the disabling to be
automatic, add the series of digits
!83,
(see
the software instructions for the telephone
connection).
Accessing Telecom
DTMF services
Access is always possible when the interfa-
ce’s FLASH INTERCEPTION is disabled,
whilst it is only possible during communica-
tion with the local telephone line, with no
incoming call from the entry panel, when the
FLASH INTERCEPTION is enabled.
