MMI’s (Men machine interface)
Important:
Never remove any MMI’s while the System is “ON”. The Motors of the brake actuators would
be fully commutated and would heat up and get damaged. Always switch OFF the System
bevor removing any MMI.
5.1
MMI: Micro wheel
The micro wheel
is typically installed for user’s who “steer through the wrist”. There is no
mechanical stop.
The stops are electronic and defined via the Servicemanager.
5.2
MMI: One hand joystick
The one hand joystick is available for the functions steer, brake and accelerating. For "steer
only" there is a corresponding version without the rocker switch.
The joystick can be used with the left or the right hand. The thumb rest of the plastic handle
can be oriented to the left of the right hand side by unscrewing the front screws, rotating of
the plastic handles by 180° and tightening the screws again.
The h
and rest’s height can be adjusted according to the user’s request.
