arises and is not repaired immediately may cause injury to persons or damage to the machine. Repair and
maintenance operations must follow the safety instructions. Turn off the motor, use suitable tools and clothing.
Problem
Cause
Solution
Rotation
Abnormal sound or vibration
Installation of the machine
body is unstable.
Place on stable, level and
smooth floor. Grasp the
wheels to fix the machine
body.
Because the bale does not
have a correct shape, the
machine may shake.
Make a good silage of the
bale with higher density.
Low rotation speed.
This is because the belt is
loose, the shaft rotates
without correctly engaging
the belt.
Adjust the belt tension.
This is because the bale shape
is incorrect and does not
rotate due to lack of chain
engagement.
Make a good silage bale with
correct bale density.
Bale does not rotate
The bale shape is incorrect or
the bale density is low.
Shape bale correct and with
high density.
Side roller adjustment is
wrong.
Readjust for bale width.
Bale falls or comes out
Bale shape is incorrect or bale
density is low.
Make sure to use well‐shaped
and dense bales. Reduce the
rotation speed.
The side roller adjustment is
incorrect.
Readjust the side roller to the
bale width.
Twine and grass roll up.
Bale shape is incorrect or bale
density is low.
Make a good silage bale with
a can bale density.
The twine that ties the bale is
loose.
Tie the twine in such a way
that it is not loose.
Change loading direction to
ensure that the bale is
rotated in the correct
direction so that the twine
does not snag.
Tension
Insufficient foil tension
Foil roll incorrectly loaded or
foil incorrectly passed.
Adjust the tension as
indicated in the manual.
As soon as wrapping starts,
the foil comes loose from the
bale.
The engagement between
the string on the side of the
bale and the end of the foil is
incorrect.
Tie the foil tightly so that it
does not come loose.
