Frying/roasting
For frying and roasting, a small amount of oil or fat
will suffice. In fact, since the pan has a non-stick
coating no oil or fat is needed at all.
Stir-frying
Stir-frying is a technique whereby small pieces
of food are fried in very little fat, oil or salt by
continuously turning them over for a short period
of time and at a high temperature. This is why it is
healthy; the taste of the ingredients is preserved,
and the vegetables remain crispy.
Boiling
The Classic Magic Multi Pan Deluxe is well-suited to
boiling pasta or rice, provided the quantities are not
too large. It is especially suited for boiling spaghetti,
because the pan is wider than most other pans. As
such, the raw spaghetti doesn’t have to be broken.
Stewing
Stewing is the technique whereby products, possibly
after searing them first, are cooked in liquids such
as water, wine, stock or fruit juice at a relatively low
temperature, i.e. about 90°C.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Clean the appliance after every use.
• After use, turn the thermostat to “0”, then
unplug the appliance, wait until it has cooled
down and remove the thermometer from the
appliance.
• When cleaning the appliance, do not use sharp
objects, aggressive detergents or scrubbing
sponges or brushes.
• Use kitchen towel to remove any removes.
Do so when the Multi Pan has not cooled
down fully (but is no longer hot!), as then any
remains will come free more easily.
• The removable thermometer and its cord must
be kept dry at all times. Never immerse them
in water or any other liquid. Clean the
thermometer, the thermostat and the cord
with a soft cloth.
• The Multi Pan can be cleaned with soapy
water and is also dishwasher-safe. Dry the
Multi Pan, and the thermometer in
particular, thoroughly with a dry cloth.
