INTRODUCTION
The Classic Magic Multi Pan Deluxe is suited for
various methods of preparing food, i.e. frying,
roasting, steaming and boiling, without having to
use fat. The Multi Pan is equipped with a non-stick
coating and a thermostat to keep the appliance at
the required temperature.
POSITIONING THE APPLIANCE
• Position the Classic Magic Multi Pan Deluxe on a
stable and flat surface.
• While the Multi Pan has a base that prevents the
surface from becoming hot, positioning it on a
plastic table cloth or other sensitive surface is not
recommended. Should you be required to do so,
put, for example, a robust non-plastic placemat or
heat-resistant trivet under the Multi Pan.
• Ensure there is sufficient space around the
Multi Pan to allow the heat to escape and for
ventilation.
OPERATION AND FEATURES
The appliance includes the following parts:
1. Glass lid with steam vent
2. Pan
3. Handle
4. Temperature light
5. Adjustable thermostat
6. Cord and plug
ADDITIONAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Do not use metal cutlery on the non-stick coating,
as this will damage it. Use wooden spatulas
wherever possible.
• Do not pour cold water onto the appliance while
it is turned on, as the water will spatter and
damage the Classic Magic Multi Pan Deluxe.
• Be careful of steam and spatters when placing
food in the Multi Pan and when cooking fatty
ingredients.
• The Multi Pan becomes very hot when in use.
Do not touch the Multi Pan. When the Multi Pan is
on, only touch the handles.
• After use, turn the thermostat to “0”, then unplug
the appliance, wait until it has cooled down and
remove the thermostat from the appliance.
• Do not move the appliance while it is on or still
hot. Use oven gloves if you have to touch the
appliance.
• The removable cord with thermostat must be kept
dry at all times.
FIRST USE
• Clean the Multi Pan before using it for the first
time (see “Cleaning and maintenance”).
• Insert the thermometer probe into the appliance.
• Plug in the appliance.
• Adjust the thermostat to the maximum setting.
• Wait a few minutes until the temperature light
turns off - this means the Multi Pan has reached
the set temperature.
Note: It is normal for some unusually-smelling
smoke to be generated the first time that the
appliance is used. This will stop of its own accord.
Preparation time very much depends on the type
and thickness of the ingredients. The scale of the
thermostat is not in degrees Celsius but is indicated
with the figures 1 through 6. The reason for this is
that the temperature depends on various factors,
such as the ingredients used, whether oil/butter
or just water is used, etc. Please refer to the table
below for an indication of the temperature:

USE
Before putting ingredients in the Multi Pan:
• Prepare the ingredients, for example with spices
or a marinade.
• Give the Multi Pan a quick clean with a soft moist
cloth.
• Insert the thermostat into the appliance and plug
it in.
• Set the thermostat to the desired position. Turn
the thermostat to the right to increase and to the
left to decrease the temperature.
• Wait until the set temperature has been reached.
The temperature light will turn on and stay
on until the Multi Pan has reached the set
temperature, then the light will go out. The
light will regularly turn on again briefly as the
heating element heats up again to maintain the
temperature.
• Prepare the food in the Multi Pan until it is ready
to eat.
• Experiment with the temperature and the cooking
time for the best results.
• Small pieces of food cook better and quicker than
large pieces.
• Turn the food over using a wooden spatula.
Tip
Defrosting food on the Classic Magic Multi Pan
Deluxe is much quicker than, for example, on a
ceramic or plastic plate. The Multi Pan does not
need to be turned on to defrost food. Defrost food
