Installing a new Diaphragm

Place
the
new
diaphragm
onto
the
clevis
and
se-
cure
it
with
the
bu on
(rounded
edge
side
toward
diaphragm),
washer
&
screw.
Note:
Be
sure
to
place
the
diaphragm
on
the
clevis
so
that
the
ridge
running
along
the
diaphragm’s
circumference
is
facing
toward
you.

side
of
the
diaphragm’s
outer
edge
is
fl
at.)
Be
sure
the
screw
is
ght.
We
recommend
using
blue
Loc te
on
the
screw
to
help
ensure
it
does
not
come
loose
during
pump
opera on.

Place
the
pump
body
up
against
the
diaphragm
and
align
it
with
the
holes
in
the
housing.

Be
sure
that
the
dia-
phragm’s
outer
lip
sits
in
the
groove
running
around
the
circumference
of
the
pump
body.

(Note:
Ensure
the
pump
body
is
installed
in
the
correct
orienta on,
with
the
outlet
facing
up.)

Fasten
the
pump
body
to
the
housing
using
the
10
screws
and
nuts.
Start
all
screws
and
nuts
before
ghtening
them
down.
Tighten
to
a
maximum
of
30
in-lbs
of
torque.
Tighten
screws
evenly
(crisscross
pa ern).
Do
not
completely
ghten
screws
un l
everything
is
aligned.

If
necessary,
repeat
steps
4-12
for
the
other
pump
body.
14.
Replace
the
manifolds
and
ghten
all
hose
clamps.
Install
the
new
diaphragm
on
the
clevis.
