The next test is to check for brake
binding and imbalance.   The rollers
will start and the operator must check
for binding for two seconds.

After two seconds, the operator slowly
increases the brake effort to reach 75%
of the lowest reading taken in the front
axle brake test.  After the brake effort
reaches the 75% threshold, the RBT
will sound an audible ‘BLEEP’ and
visually show all three lamps on the
left of the console. The operator must
now slowly reduce the brake effort as
prompted on the display.

NOTE:  If the operator locks either of
the vehicle wheels during this test,
then the imbalance test must be
repeated.  The message ‘REPEAT
IMBALANCE’ will be shown and the
rollers will re-start.

When the software detects the reduced
brake effort, the rollers will
automatically stop and the display will
change to show the test results.
