Never ignore an alarm.
Swim Patio Override
The swim patio override switch (see Figure 3.28.1),
located at the helm, prevents the engines from starting
if the patio is deployed. If the patio is deployed while
the engines are running an audible alarm sounds to
alert the operator.
The
OVER RIDE switch may be used if the engines
must be started with the swim patio deployed. To
override, depress the override switch while turning the
ignition. Once the engine(s) starts release the switch.
The switch is illuminated when the patio is deployed.
Swim Patio Ladder
Operate the swim patio ladder (see
Figure 3.28.2) as follows:
1. Retrieve swim patio ladder from
under stern seat.
2. Insert lugs on ladder into ladder
bracket on swim patio and rotate
down into a vertical position.
3. Reverse procedure to retrieve
ladder.
4. Stow ladder under stern seat.
Rotating propeller may cause serious injury
or death. Do not approach or use ladder when
engine is running.
