Position "7": Potentiometer test
1.
Set the encoding switch to position "7" and press
the Enter button.
The LEDs go out briefly whilst pressing the
button.
$
Orange flashing of LED: Corresponding
potentiometer not within permissible range
0–3 %.
$
Green flashing of LED: Corresponding
potentiometer within permissible range 3–97 %.
$
Red flashing of LED: Corresponding
potentiometer not within permissible range
97–100 %.

Position "8": Activation / diagnosis function
1.
Set the encoding switch to position "8" and press
the Enter button.
Red/green flashing of LEDs and alarm generator
sounds intermittently.
2.
Press and hold the "Lift" ("Heben") button until the
lifting platform has moved upwards somewhat and
switches off automatically.
The following tests are performed within approx.
3 seconds whilst pressing the button:
R
Test a : LED1 lights (red), LED2 off. Only the "Lift"
("Heben") relays are actuated. The lifting platform
must not move.
R
Test b : LED1 off, LED2 lights (red). Only the safety
relay is actuated. The lifting platform must not move.
R
Test c: Both LEDs light (red). The "Lift" ("Heben")
relays and the safety relay are actuated. The lifting
platform moves upwards somewhat and switches off
automatically.
Possible faults: See Table 7.
Both LEDs light (green).
Tests a, b, c completed.
3.
Release the "Lift" ("Heben") button.
Orange/green flashing of LEDs and alarm
generator sounds intermittently.
4.
Press and hold the "Lower" ("Senken") button until
the lifting platform has moved downwards somewhat
and switches off automatically.
The following tests are performed within approx.
3 seconds whilst pressing the button:
R
Test d: LED1 lights (orange), LED2 off. Only the
"Lower" ("Senken") relays are actuated. The lifting
platform must not move.
R
Test e: LED1 off, LED2 lights (orange). Only the
safety relay is actuated. The lifting platform must not
move.
R
Test f: Both LEDs light (orange). The "Lower"
("Senken") relays and the safety relay are actuated.
The lifting platform moves downwards somewhat
and switches off automatically.
Possible faults: See Table 7.
Green flashing of both LEDs.
Tests d, e, f completed.
5.
Release the "Lower" ("Senken") button.
"
Test in position "8" completed. The control system can
be returned to position "0".
!
If the test in position "8" is not performed in full,
the lifting platform can no longer be operated in
position "0".
Problem
Cause
Remedy
After test a: Red flashing of LED1.
Lifting platform has moved upwards
although only the "Lift" ("Heben") relays
have been actuated.
Switch control system off/on, repeat test,
check wiring, replace control system if
necessary.
After test b: Red flashing of LED2.
Lifting platform has moved upwards
although only the safety relay has been
actuated.
After test c: Red flashing of both LEDs.
Lifting platform has not moved upwards
although the "Lift" ("Heben") relays and
the safety relay have been actuated.
After test d: Orange flashing of LED1.
Lifting platform has moved downwards
although only the "Lower" ("Senken")
relays have been actuated.
After test e: Orange flashing of LED2.
Lifting platform has moved downwards
although only the safety relay has been
actuated.
After test f: Orange flashing of both LEDs. Lifting platform has not moved
downwards although the "Lower"
("Senken") relays and the safety relay
have been actuated.
