6.5 Fitting special roof hooks for slate/shingles
NOTICE:
Unprofessional work may lead to the roof leaking!
▶ Have a qualified roofer carry out the installation.
▶ To ensure a watertight installation, insert a plate on site [3]
underneath the special roof hook.
▶ Fit the special roof hook at the front with gaskets [2] and the screw
[1].
▶ Adequately secure the special roof hook at the back on the roof
substrate.

6.6 Installing the profile rails

▶ Place the the profile rails in the centre and screw in each retaining
block with two short screws M8 × 16.

It is important for the subsequent collector installation that the profile
rails are accurately aligned! Use assembly aids, e.g. a roof batten [1].
▶ Level the profile rails horizontally and with the stated clearance. Use
a spirit level.
▶ Align sides of the upper and lower profile rails with each other.
▶ Check that they are at right angles. Measure the diagonals or place a
roof batten, for example, at the ends of the profile rails.
▶ Tighten screws M8.
