Troubleshooting
Problem
Main power switch is on, but
graphic LCD does not
turn on.
Flow code unavailable.
Flush operation is inoperative, sole-
noid clicks.
LOW FLUID TEMP message
appears on the graphic LCD.
TANK EMPTY message appears
on the graphic LCD.
LOW VOLTAGE message
appears on the graphic LCD.
FLOW < 0.5 GPM
message appears on the
graphic LCD.
Cause
1. Power supply cable not connected
to battery.
2. Poor power supply cable connec-
tion.
3. Power cables are reversed.
4. Dead battery.
1. Flow rate test too short.
1. No air pulse.
1. Supply ATF is below 65 degrees
Fahrenheit.
1. Supply vessel is empty.
1. Less than 11V DC supplied to unit.
1. Restriction to the vehicle T.O.C.
system or transmission cooler lines.
2. Shop air supply less than 90 PSI.
3. Air supply hose not connected.
4. Possible equipment failure.
Solution
1. Connect power supply cable to
battery.
2. Check connection at positive
terminal and chassis ground by
wiggling the clamps.
3. Check polarity of battery clamps.
4. Verify battery is fully charged.
1. Carry out the flow rate test for a
minimum of 8 seconds.
1. Verify that the shop air supply is
greater than 90 PSI.
1. Warm up supply ATF to 65° F.
1. Add appropriate amount of ATF
to supply vessel in order to con-
tinue testing.
1. Charge and test vehicle battery.
2. Check for secure b and
vehicle ground connections.

Follow the Flush Operation/Flow
Test procedure.
2.
Repair vehicle T.O.C. system.
Refer to GM diagnostic service
procedure.
3.
Verify that the shop air supply is
greater than 90 PSI.
4.
Connect shop air supply hose to
the TransFlow unit.
5.
C
omplete
the self-test procedure.
If the self-test fails, adjust Trans-
Flow internal pressure regulator.
