In the service manager of Windows the status of the UPS NT service is indi‐
cated:

UPS NT stopped: No entry in the status column
●
UPS NT started: Entry Started is displayed as status
Click on the Start or Stop buttons to start or stop the marked entry UPS NT
Service.

Configuration
To configure the UPS NT program, select UPS NT Control in the control panel,
see
fig. 9-4 "Symbol UPS NT Control in the Windows Control Panel" on page
Closing the program or stopping the monitoring
is not possible due to missing administrator
rights.
NOTICE
The UPS NT program always runs as a Windows NT service. Changing the
user does not influence this behavior. The user cannot terminate the program
or stop the monitoring without administrator rights.
