Possible personal injury and material damage
due to a VAU 01.1U that loosens from the
mounting rail caused by insufficient fastening.
CAUTION
Fasten the VAU 01.1U on a stable mounting rail. A mounting rail which is not
stable enough can deform during transport, and therefore the VAU 01.1U can
get loose.
Fixing the cables
Unfixed cables are not permitted. An appropriate fixing (e. g. installation in a
cable channel) and a strain relief of the cables is required.
5.3.3
Dismounting
Before dismounting the VAU 01.1U, ensure that
●
the PC is shutdown,
●
the VAU 01.1U has been disconnected from the voltage supply,
●
the cables of the VAU 01.1U have been removed.
Unlocking the UPS
●
Unlock the VAU 01.1U from the mounting rail by pulling the release lev‐
er to the bottom side by using a screwdriver, see
release lever of the mounting rail holder" on page 27

Removing the UPS from the

Pull off the VAU 01.1U from the mounting rail.

Finally, remove the VAU 01.1U in upwards direction.
