Safety systems
Start lock-out
The appliance cannot be switched on until
the blender jug has been turned irmly into
place.
Automatic disconnection
The appliance switches o automatically
if the blender jug accidentally becomes
detached during operation.
Overload protection
If the motor switches itself o while the
appliance is being used, the overload pro-
tection feature has been activated. Possible
causes:
–
very large amounts of ingredients,
–
appliance operated too long.

“Troubleshooting”.

The illuminated ring lashes slowly when
the appliance is ready for use (

). The
illuminated ring is lit continuously when
the appliance is in operation. Rapid
lashing signals a fault (see “Trouble-
shooting”).
