New microphone assembly on an old delegate-/ chairman
unit

8.1
Description
The mechanical construction of the microphone head is
simplified. A white plastic disc for light reflection has been
removed. The microphone head LED is now produced as one
moulding. The construction results in a slightly lower light
output of the LED ring.
To make the light output equal to the previous model LED ring
some resistors on the unit PCB have to be changed in the field
when mounting a new microphone assembly.

Electrical modifications
There are no drivers on mic LED headboard. These are located on the main board. Electrically is nothing changed in the
head.
1.
New main board from HW01-03 onwards
A new LED driver circuitry is introduced for the new microphone head construction.
2.
Old main board HW01-02 and lower
To make the light output equal to the previous model LED ring some resistors on the unit PCB have to be changed in
the field when mounting a new microphone assembly.

Service microphones with new head assembly can be identified with the factory code number.
On the packing are 2 labels,
