4.3 Cancel / Action button (S button)
Cancel emergency call
If you have pressed the emergency call button by mistake, you
can cancel the call with the Action button during the pre-alarm
time. Press the Action button until the unit announces "stop" .
Calls cannot be cancelled after the pre-alarm time.
4.3.1 Action button: Service call
The Action button can also be used as a service button, when
programmed. If you press the button and hold it for at least 2
seconds, the unit dials a call number that has been
programmed for the service call and you hear the
announcement " service call" .
4.3.2 Action button: Direct call
The Action button can be used to make a direct call. When the
Action button is pressed, the Carephone 62 makes one single
call to an analog telephone destination. In case of a call sent by
a direct call, the alarm can also be cancelled after the pre-
alarm.
4.3.3 Action button: Unit status
The Action button lights up if there is a malfunction. To check
the unit's status, press the Action button, the status is
announced.
NOTICE!
A direct call is not possible through an IP connection.
