Note: The option to mount the junction box directly to a wall is valid only if you plan to install
the camera to a wall mount bracket. You cannot use this option with a corner mount bracket
or a pole mount bracket because those two brackets attach to the back of the junction box
instead of to the front.
12.4 Installing the Junction Box (VDA-AD-JNB)
4 If desired, secure the junction box to the wall with the four M6 screws and washers.

4 Select one of the cable entry holes (drilled into two sides of the box) through which to
route the connection cables. (Refer to the first figure for hole sizes.)
4 Remove the plug from that hole only.
4 Route all connection cables (24 VAC, CAT 5/CAT6, alarm and/or audio as needed) through
the side cable entry hole (item a in the following figure).
4 Route all connection cables (24 VAC, CAT 5/CAT6, alarm and/or audio as needed) through
the cable entry hole in the front cover of the junction box (item b in the following figure).
