8.  When storing, turn to the [OFF] position.   Make sure the unit is completely  

 

empty of water and in a frost-free environment only.   Remove the batteries.  

9.  Use 2”AA” alkaline batteries only.  Do not use rechargeable batteries.    

 

Do not mix old and new batteries.  Do not mix alkaline, standard  

 

(carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.

10. Install new batteries at the start of the watering season.

11. Use timer in the proper orientation only; do not use sideways, upside  

 

down, etc.

12. No user-serviceable parts inside timer housing.  Opening housing will 

 

void warranty and cause potential leakage.

13. CAUTION:  This timer contains internal electronic components that are  

 

susceptible to damage by static electricity.  If your timer begins to  

 

malfunction, it is possible that your timer has been exposed to static  

 

electricity.  In such an event, you may reset your timer by removing and  

 

reinserting the batteries.  

14. CAUTION:  Detach timer from spigot during freezing weather.  Do not  

 

use with water exceeding 38°C (100°F) or with pressures exceeding  

 

6,9 BARS (100 psi).  For pressures exceeding 6,9 BARS (100 psi),  

 

consult a local plumber for pressure regulation.  Avoid pulling or tugging  

 

on the hose as damage to the timer may result.
