Safety Instructions
● This device can be used by children aged from 8 years
and above, and persons with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning the use of the device in a safe way
and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not
play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance
shall not be made by children without supervision.
● Protect the device against extreme temperatures and
dust. ● Keep this device away from rain, moisture,
splashing and dripping liquids.

abuse. Avoid brute force when operating the device.
● Familiarise yourself with the functions of the device
before actually using it. ● All modifications of the device
are forbidden for safety reasons. Damage caused by user
modifications to the device is not covered by the
warranty. ● Only use the device for its intended purpose.
Using the device in an unauthorised way will void the
warranty. ● Damage caused by disregard of certain
guidelines in this manual is not covered by the warranty
and the dealer will not accept responsibility for any
ensuing defects or problems. ● Keep this manual for
future reference.
4.
Battery
Warning:
Do not puncture batteries or throw them in fire
as they may explode. Do not attempt to recharge non-
rechargeable batteries (alkaline). Dispose of batteries in
accordance with local regulations. Keep batteries away
from children.
5.
Installation and Operation
● Slide the battery compartment open, remove the
plastic protective tab and close the battery compartment.
Note that the timer will not switch off. Remove the
battery after use. ● Press the MIN button to increase the
minutes; press the SEC button to increase the seconds.
Press and hold down the button to increase the setting
speed.
● Pressing
the
MIN
and
SEC
buttons
simultaneously will reset the time to 00:00 (zero).
● Press START/STOP to start the countdown. When the
timer reaches 00:00, an alarm will sound. Press any
button to stop the alarm. The last timer setting is
memorized; press START/STOP to recall. ● Reset the
timer. Press START/STOP to start counting up. ● Place
the device on a table or use the clip or the magnet at the
back.
6.
Maintenance
● Occasionally wipe with a damp cloth to keep it looking
new. Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents or
strong detergents.

Dit symbool op het toestel of de verpakking geeft aan
dat, als het na zijn levenscyclus wordt
weggeworpen, dit toestel schade kan
toebrengen aan het milieu. Gooi dit toestel
(en eventuele batterijen) niet bij het
gewone huishoudelijke afval; het moet bij
een gespecialiseerd bedrijf terechtkomen
voor recyclage. U moet dit toestel naar uw verdeler of
naar een lokaal recyclagepunt brengen. Respecteer de
plaatselijke

2.
Veiligheidsvoorschriften
● Dit toestel is geschikt voor gebruik door kinderen vanaf
8 jaar, door personen met fysieke, zintuiglijke of
verstandelijke beperkingen, of door personen met gebrek
aan ervaring en kennis, op voorwaarde dat dit onder
toezicht gebeurt van een persoon die verantwoordelijk is
voor hun veiligheid of hun aanwijzingen heeft gegeven,
hoe zij het toestel moeten gebruiken en zich bewust zijn
van de risico's die het gebruik van het toestel met zich
meebrengt. Kinderen mogen niet met het toestel spelen.
De reiniging en het onderhoud van het toestel mogen niet
worden uitgevoerd door kinderen, tenzij ze onder toezicht
staan.
● Bescherm

tegen
extreme
temperaturen en stof. ● Bescherm het toestel tegen
regen, vochtigheid en opspattende vloeistoffen.
3.
Algemene richtlijnen

www.velleman.eu. ● Bescherm tegen schokken. Vermijd
brute kracht tijdens de bediening van het toestel. ● Leer
eerst de functies van het toestel kennen voor u het gaat
gebruiken. ● Om veiligheidsredenen mag u geen
wijzigingen aanbrengen. Schade door wijzigingen die de
gebruiker heeft aangebracht aan het toestel valt niet
onder de garantie. ● Gebruik het toestel enkel waarvoor
het gemaakt is. De garantie vervalt automatisch bij
ongeoorloofd gebruik. ● De garantie geldt niet voor
schade door het negeren van bepaalde richtlijnen in deze
handleiding en uw dealer zal de verantwoordelijkheid
afwijzen voor defecten of problemen die hier rechtstreeks
verband mee houden. ● Bewaar deze handleiding voor
verdere raadpleging.
4.
Batterij
Waarschuwing:
U mag batterijen nooit doorboren of in
het vuur gooien (explosiegevaar). Herlaad geen
alkalinebatterijen. Gooi batterijen weg volgens de
plaatselijke milieuwetgeving. Houd batterijen buiten het
bereik van kinderen.
5.
Installatie en bediening
● Schuif het batterijvak open. Verwijder het plastic
beschermlipje en sluit het batterijvak. Deze timer
schakelt niet automatisch uit. Verwijder de batterij na
gebruik. ● Druk op de MIN-knop om de minuten te
verhogen; druk op de SEC-knop om de seconden te
verhogen. Houd de knop ingedrukt om de waarde sneller
te wijzigen. ● Door gelijktijdig de toetsen MIN en SEC in
te drukken, wordt de tijd terug gezet op 00:00 (nul).
● Druk op de START/STOP-knop om het aftellen te
beginnen. Wanneer de timer 00:00 bereikt, hoort u een
alarm. Druk op een willekeurige knop om het alarm te
stoppen. De laatste timerinstelling wordt in het geheugen
opgeslagen. Druk op de START/STOP-knop om deze
instelling opnieuw op te vragen. ● Reset de timer. Druk
op de START-knop om de chronometer te starten.
● Plaats het toestel op een tafel of gebruik de clip of de
magneet aan de achterkant.
6.
Onderhoud
● Reinig het toestel af en toe met een vochtige doek.

Ne pas laisser les enfants jouer avec l'appareil. Le
nettoyage et l'entretien ne doivent pas être effectués par
des enfants sans surveillance. ● Protéger l'appareil des
températures extrêmes et de la poussière. ● Protéger
l'appareil de la pluie, de l'humidité, d'éclaboussures et
des projections d’eau.

l'appareil qu’à sa fonction prévue. Un usage impropre

directives de ce mode d'emploi et votre revendeur
déclinera toute responsabilité pour les problèmes et les
défauts qui en résultent. ● Garder ce mode d'emploi pour

4.
La pile
Avertissement :
Ne jamais perforer les piles et ne pas
les jeter au feu (danger d’explosion). Ne jamais recharger
des piles alcalines. Se débarrasser des piles en
respectant la réglementation locale relative à la
protection de l’environnement. Garder les piles hors de la
portée des enfants.
5.
Installation et emploi
● Faire glisser le couvercle du compartiment à piles.
Retirer la languette de protection en plastique et fermer
le compartiment à piles. Ce minuteur ne s'éteint pas
automatiquement. Retirer la pile après usage. ● Appuyer
sur le bouton MIN pour augmenter les minutes; appuyer
sur le bouton SEC pour augmenter les secondes.
Maintenir enfoncé le bouton pour modifier la valeur
rapidement. ● En appuyant simultanément sur les
boutons MIN et SEC, l'heure sera réinitialisée à 00:00
(zéro). ● Appuyer sur le bouton START/STOP pour
commencer le compte à rebours. Lorsque le minuteur
atteint 00:00, une alarme se déclenche. Appuyer sur un
bouton quelconque pour arrêter l'alarme. Le dernier
réglage est mémorisé. Appuyer sur le bouton
START/STOP. ● Réinstaurer le minuteur. Appuyer sur le
bouton START/STOP pour commencer à compter le
temps. ● Placer l'appareil sur une table ou utiliser le clip
ou l'aimant à l'arrière.
6.
Entretien
● Nettoyer occasionnellement l'appareil avec un chiffon
humide. Ne pas utiliser d'agents chimiques agressifs, de
solvants ni de détergents puissants.
