Buzz on Fault
(Voice Active)
When the control panel is off, a short or open buzzes the keypad. When the
control panel is All or Part On (armed), a short or open causes an alarm
response.
Buzz on Fault points are not bypassable.
Single Ring
programming option
applies. Refer to the
Single Ring
prompt in Section 8.0 Bell.
Note:
Buzz on Fault points do not generate Trouble Reports even if you program Digit 3 to
send them. Refer to Section
11.3
Digit 3, Point Options

When you program Digit 3 for Trouble Reports text keypads display a
trouble condition for faults on Buzz on Fault points, otherwise they sound
the trouble tone only with no display.
Note:
Missing Buzz on Fault points generate an alarm response when on, a trouble
response when off.
RF Tamper for a Buzz on Fault point generates an alarm response when on, a
trouble response when off.
Voice Active Function:
When the
Delay Alrm Rpt
prompt is set to 255, the
Buzz on Fault point type works differently for On-board points (refer to the
Delay Alrm Rpt
prompt in Section 3.0 Reports). The
Delay Alrm Rpt
prompt is only set to 255 when a two-way voice verification module is
connected to the control panel.
The voice verification module shorts a Buzz on Fault (voice active) point to
tell the control panel a two-way voice verification session is active.

Short or open causes alarm response if no Trouble option. Refer to Section
11.3 Digit 3, Point Options.
24-hour points are not bypassable.
Single Ring

24-hour, invisible
Short or open causes alarm response if no Trouble option. Refer to Section

No alarm tones at keypad, except when point is programmed for alarm
output. If point is programmed for alarm output, keypad sounds alarm tones
for point alarms.
Point lights do not light for alarms.
24-hour points are not bypassable.
