During the measurement phase the
descending cuff pressure and the flashing
symbol are displayed (see illustra-
tion 6).
Please keep your arm still if the symbol
appears while a measurement is being ta-
ken.
Measuring your blood pressure
The pump starts to inflate the cuff to the re-
quired pressure. Increasing cuff pressure is
displayed.
When the
required pressure
is reached,
the pump switches off and the air is re-
leased slowly from the cuff.
Interrupting a measurement:
A measurement can be interrupted at any
stage by pressing the START button while
taking a measurement again; the cuff de-
flates automatically.
