Fitting instructions
A circumferential strap system is provided with the thigh support and can be
attached to the thigh support as required (Step 5).
1
Open both cross restraints and let the restraints hang downwards. Here, you
see the green velour inner surface with the directional arrows and marking
strips as a so-called “pull stop”.
Put the upper thigh support on when standing with a slightly bent knee. Here, the
function zone (F) should be at the height of the injured region.
Tip:
the thigh support can be used for the knee-stretching (frontal) and knee-
bending (rear) muscles.
2
Then, pull the first cross restraint downwards to the marking strip (see arrow).
Here, the wide, red marking strip indicates the maximum pull (which must not
be exceeded).
3
Then, attach the cross restraints diagonally on the upper velour using Velcro.
4
Repeat the process with the second cross restraint. Here, the restraints cross
as an X. It makes no difference which cross restraint you attach first.
5
If required, the circumferential belt fasteners provided can be attached to the
velour lugs with Velcro under tensile stress. Ensure that the longer restraints
are attached above and the shorter restraints below.
