The parallel system structure is 1+1. As long as the two UPS are
equipped with parallel cables, they can be worked in parallel mode to
configure a sharing and redundant output power.
4.6.2 Installation and operation
NOTE:
Before installation and operation, Observe the following
requirements.
■ The output wiring requirement is as follows:
●
When the distance between the UPS in parallel and the
breaker panel is less than 10 meters, the length difference
between input and output cable of the UPSs is required to be
less than 20%.
●
When the distance between the UPS in parallel and the
breaker panel is more than 20 meters, the length difference
between input and output cable of the UPSs is required to be
less than 5%.
How to install a new parallel UPS system:
1) Before installing a new parallel UPS system, it is neccecary to
prepare the input and output wires, the input and output
breakers, and the parallel cable.
2) An appropriate 15-pin communication cable should be used for
this system. The length of the parallel cable should be less than
3 m.
3) Follow chapter 4, wiring requirement of single UPS for the
wiring of each UPS.
4) Independent EBM for each UPS.
5) Connect the input and output wires, connect all the wiring
according to the Fig. 4.9 and Fig. 4.10 ,ensure all breakers are
open.
